THE END IS IN SIGHT...FINGERS CROSSED

Hi, everyone, I just dropped by to let everyone know that I am still around. I have had a really rough three weeks. I had a total meltdown on this past Wednesday. Not pretty!  But I am feeling better and with fingers crossed, I hope that the end is in sight. There has not been much activity on the site lately. I guess many people are getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus I am sure many of you are in the same boat with me....depressed. I am excited and anxious at the same time about our upcoming cruise. It is only 19 days until we have to leave to go to Halifax, the city where we catch our plane and we have to stay overnight. So I am excited because I know it will be fabulous and knock on wood, I will be my old self. Anxious....because I have a ton of prep to do before I leave. I really have to be almost ready for Christmas because we do not return until the 20th!! Okay, I have to stay calm and focused. I try to do a little every day. My Christmas cards are all ready to go. I am 95% plus finished shopping. I hope to start some wrapping today. The tree will go up next weekend and then any of my many other decorations that I get done will be a bonus. I am really, really trying not to expect too much of myself and just deal with what I get done, gets done, the rest is not that important. This is my husband’s constant speech to me! The problem, of course, lays with me and my type A, perfectionist personality. Pray for me..I need all the help I can get.Well, I must have breakfast and get to some wrapping. I wish you all a beautiful fall day.Debbie

You expect too much from yourself and make the craziness for yourself..I know, because I have the same tendency. But really will anything bad really happen if you do just a few things and don\'t push so much? Not really. Make a list of necessity things that you have to do, then let the rest go. You need to not be such a hard task-master for yourself. Relax, the world will still spin if all the \"extras\" aren\'t done. Try it and start enjoying the time getting ready and anticipating your great holiday!!! You are very lucky and are going to have a great time....don\'t you always?!!! Take lots of pictures and have lots of fun...the fun should start now, Deb.
Love you and hang in there.

Right there with you. I had all kinds of plans today and instead I am still in my robe looking around at what I didn\'t do. Being type A too I know you feel. My spacer is giving me trouble, I am having to slam the keys. Needs new batteries. It is good that you get to look forward to your trip. You have way more done than me. Glad you reminded me of the tree, must make plans for that. I am usually looking forward to that but it sounds like dread ths year. Hang in there girlfriend. I feel really bad that you are down and will say a prayer for you. Love Naomi xo
