the employee that I am training
My boss is super interestered in getting the new employee trained asap.
Both times I have trained her - she seemed a little 'in her own world' and smelled like marijuana.
I don't know if I should tell my boss. If the new worker can manage the job and have that habit,
I am not going to say anything. I don't do drugs but I do drink ocassionally.
I just wish she wouldn't do this before she comes to work.

If she can't handle the job I'm sure your boss will notice soon enough. I wouldn't say anything unless I actually saw the drugs. Now, if she's not learning like she should, I would report that to my boss seeing how I was responsible to train her. I wouldn't want it to come back on me that I wasn't doing my job correctly.
yeah- that's totally what I have to get done. I have to get her up to speed - but I fear she is such a stoner that she isn't really 'all there'
Hopefully, she will be able to do the job.
