The day’s beginning
I'm here at work, waiting for it to start.
I had my guayaki tea. I saw the movie Oppenheimer last night and I really enjoyed it.
I wish I could give you guys a hug.
It's another day and I am grateful. We have so much to be grateful for.

(((((((( thanks Nikki)))))
Hugs to you too
Good morning, Mark! I'd never heard of guayaki tea, so I looked it up. : ) Glad you enjoyed the movie. Have a great day at work! Sending a hug your way.
Oh! It's yerba mate tea - always wanted to try it. Glad you enjoyed the movie. I hear it's a long one! You must have stayed up past your bedtime. :) Enjoy your day! Hugs!
Thanks Judy and Susan! Indeed I did stay up late!:-)
i caught the existence of that movie while looking up kid matinees. the manhattan project is one of my historical (no herstory there) intrigues. . . that was one convoluted piece of history. i'm almost tempted to invest some self-care hours in going to see it, but. . . probably not. it'll be streaming soon enough.
have you tried experimenting with wild tea? you can harvest a good cup of tea on most any walk, even inner-city walks. herbs are everywhere.
Thanks arfie! I don't know enough about plants to feel confident
to pick my own tea leaves. But it's a cool idea! If I were in the mediterranean area
I would definitely feel ok about picking CHAMMOMILE! :)
Yum!
Sending a big fat hug!! :-)
i'm willing to bet dollars to wishes you have passed wild chamomile on your walks. it's everywhere.
a test i run to find my wild tea herbs is to pluck a leaf, crush the leaf a bit, then sniff. if it smells nummy, i lightly touch the leaf to my tongue. if there are no unpleasant tingles on my tongue, i go ahead and put the entire leaf in my mouth, ready to spit it out at the first discomfort. if it still tastes nummy after i walk a spell with it, i pick a fresh leaf or two on the way home. i carry one of those two-sided screen tea spoons to collect my tea in. sometimes i carry one of those tin tea balls. sniffing my tea spoon/ball even ranks as aroma therapy in my psycho book.
i love my wild teas. every cup is a new adventure.
you are brave arfie! I only drink what the stores say I can drink : ) heh
