The crossroads

"I feel nothing when we hug or even kiss. The feelings are just gone. You tell me you want to change but you never do!" Her words.
An impromptu date night situation. Both kids are asked to spend the night with friends last night. For most couples the sudden realization of hey no kids lets go out. Thats what we did. It turned into a night that can be marked on my calender as the "beginning of the End" or "a new beginning for us". 
She has checked out from the relationship.  I have not a clue right now what to do right now to move forward.  Guessing I have to process through everything said.  Our marriage appears to be done. I think she feels it would be easier to walk away in order to keep her self safe and protected from me. Empty promises from me has created an extremely hostile environment
. We both are so confused and at a loss For what to do next.
