the choices we make

sometimes I don't understand why my mind leads me to do certain things...but it does...

it makes me wonder about the idea of 'free will' if any of us can escape the biological

aspect of our lives and have good judgement all of the time. I suppose we all make mistakes

sometimes - perhaps it's just fatigue perhaps at this point in the day...

but today overall has been good... have nothing really significant to herald here in this journal

and after all the day is not over yet..

Anyways - I bet I'll be online later.

Peace,

Mark

I believe God gives us free will, but does give us his Word and prayer in which to seek out the right things to do. None of us is perfect, least of all me. I've made a lot of mistakes and had poor judgement a lot when I was younger. Thank God I'm better now. I guess wisdom comes with age and knowing God.

We still have to choose. Wisely, most of the time.

I’ve always relied on my instincts. I just googled free will vs instinct and found this snippet:

In any sense, a human does have the ability to choose how they act, otherwise known as free will. We can decide to rush into a burning building to save a child, even though common sense and instinct tell you not to go near that blazing fire.

That seemed like a proper way for me to think of things, at least for today.

Thanks for the philosophy for today!
