The boxes and stuff in the laundry
So I'm busy at work when the phone rings. I answer. Its hubby and he's aggro. I'm sure the guy at the desk next to me could hear his voice as he was quite loud. not yelling but close to it.
Going on about how he is sick and tired of the boxes and stuff in the laundry as they almost fell on him today as he was doing the washing. He's told me months ago to sort the boxes out and I have done nothing. so he is going to leave it all outside in the rain because they don't matter because if they did, I would have done something about it sooner.
Great how to have a rational discussion with him over the phone while the office is full of people. SO I apologise profusively, saying I am just plain lazy to not have done anything about it in the past, how I get tied up on other things and that when I get home from work tonight, I will be in there getting it all sorted.
Seems to calm him down. He says he will put the stuff in the laundry but next time he goes in there and its not sorted, everything will be thrown outside in the rain to be trashed.
Ahhh gotta love it when he goes all threatening but acts like he is doing me a favour.
Lets see, I am busy because I work full time 5 days a week, I am up at 5 in the morning, I get home between 5-6 at night, I spend maybe 30mins to an hour with our daughter, he cooks dinner, we eat, I clean up the table and dishes, I make our daughters bed, take out any dirty nappies he has left in her roomm I bath her, story time and then put her to bed, I clear out the litter tray (hmm another journal I need to vent on), I tidy up the lounge, I take out the rubbish, if he has done the washing, I I fold and put away, I prep for the following day, I go to the supermarket to get bread milk and his smokes when required............ and on weekends, I take our daughter to her swim lesson (he sleeps in), library books, groceries and housework and other errands.
Hmmm of course I am lazy and havent gotten around to sorting out the laundry. Its just so obvious.
Yet he is at all day everyday, he doesnt go anywhere, he sits there and plays his PS2. So why can't he get up and sort the boxes and stuff out......... oh wait then he can't blame anyone else for whatever reason may come up. And theres no point me pointing anything out to him or arguing, just gets me in trouble. And I don't need him more upset.
Yep hubby, keep on, the more you are like this, the better it is for me to do something about it.
I sure hope he has calmed down tonight by the time I walk in. Oh crap, its a late night finish at work for me, so he will be tense regardless because he does struggle to look after our daughter all day.
