The beginning
I told me cabin leader about the abuse first and after that I regretted it. I tell y self if I could have only made it one more year I could have moved and he couldn't hurt me and maybe if I wouldn't have told I wouldn't have been under so much stress that I would have lost my baby. Its been months since I told and still I have flash backs and when I do I have found I'm violent and I've been fighting the thoughts of self harm. I can't sleep, I have to force myself to eat. And no one in my family is really supportive after I told we drifted apart and now I'm alone in this big city wishing I could go back and take it all back or that I would have killed myself the first time I tried when I was 15.

i\'m so sorry that your going through this. i think you did the right thing by telling maybe it doesn\'t feel like it now, but i think it was the best thing to tell. I\'m sorry your family isn\'t more supportive. I don\'t know if you have but i would really strongly recommend finding a therapist that specialized in sexual abuse, i think you would find it most healing, and it may ease some depression to have someone to talk to. What ever you do don\'t give up on yourself or your life, it can be better, it can be good. Keep writing here too. There are wonderful people here that can relate to what your experiencing and many of them have valuable advice and empathy.
