The Beach

I have not really left my home in over a week...honestly, I can't remember the last time I washed my hair. I have been sleeping as much as possible to escape the pain...So, today I am planing on going to the beach with a friend. I don't want to go, I don't feel like getting dressed, much less going out, but I am going to do it. I hope it helps.

Yay for you for stepping out - a change of scenery - a good friend with listening ears and heart - I pray that your day gives you moments of peace. Much love, Gina. ((hugs))

The ocean is SO very healing and I hope BE-ing with your friend and allowing the breezes, sunshine and the water to wash over you will help dear Gina even if just for those moments.

Lots of loving care and thank goodness for our earth angels.

Yes, it is good to make yourself get out once in a while. It may not feel that great but, it is still good, I think. My way of handling grief was to close myself up in my house and sleep and look out the window. My husband\'s way was different, he needed to be out even though he couldn\'t really function. So, he got me out once in a while and it was good for me. The other cool thing for you is that the beach is such a comforting, healing place. I hope you just listen to the waves and take in the sun and let your mind and body just be....sending you tight hugs, Anne

Grief is a life long process. But it does get better but not overnight or even 6 months. Lot longer. Bless your special angel hugs Mary Ann.

Oh my, Gina, you made me look at myself! And I thank you for it!! Since I got injured and have not been working, I haven\'t been showering, washing my hair etc. The thing I have been doing the best is getting drugged up and sleeping LOL. I did force myself out last Saturday to attend a graduation picnic for my niece, but I was in pain all day. I think you are right....We have to make ourselves do that which we go to great pains to avoid.
Peace.
