That undeniable cycle is my own personal Hell.

So I find myself here again. The tremendous progress my marriage made this year was the happiest I ever remember. This vicious cycle within my wife is as unstoppable as the tide. I can do everything within my power but her Fall/Winter feelings she is no longer "in love" with me are not to be denied. The devastating pain is back. Once again Ibracemyself for the good fight. It is somewhat different this time in that I wonder if stability and security in my marriage with her will ever be more than temporary. I love her deeply and my family is precious to me so I WILL FIGHT. I just don't think I will have an easy time trusting. Of course it may not come to that and it could be taken out of my hands altogether. To clarify, she has not told me she doesn't love me. She has not looked to separate that I am aware of. She has only stopped being intimate. She has said she's in a funk and needs to figure out what is wrong with her. She is feeling overwhelmed. She is considering going tocounseling. She has stopped spending time with me and started seeking past girl friends out. These are friends she talked to when going through the initial stages of separation earlier this year. We have stopped going to church. She has excuses but she knows it has been important to us. I know her very well... Maybe better than she knows herself, and I know this is happening again.I very selfishly ask for anyone's prayers for my wife, my family, and me.

Again, as I read your posts, my heart hurts for you. It is as if I were reading my life story. (Although, the sex had not stopped with us) I still heard the \"I love you\", still had the hand holding, the neck rubs, the back rubs, the whole nine yards, for a week & then ... I\'m tired of being broke, etc, etc, ... \"I don\'t know if I can do this anymore\" Come to find out, 2 years later, he was living a double life & when the OW gave him an ultimatum, he was again my \"loving\" husband. I do not wish that nightmare on anyone. Prayers to you & your family.
