thanks, calling the doc today.

just called the doc, appt is for tomorrow at 2:30........

i need to give you more info.......i'm on xarelto daily, a very good blood thinner.  in the past i have had blood clots in my left leg and sady clots that shot from my leg into both lungs.......that was a very bad day back in 2007, but gratefully and thankfully i figured it out and got my silly tail to the hospital......you should have heard the head r.n. fussing at me......"YOU could have died today."  and i said, :that's what i told my doc.....that i thought i was gonna die today"......she looked at me with such astonishment in her face......."how," she said, can you be so calm?"

i laughed a quiet little laugh.....my life is pretty strange medically, so when i think i'm gonna die i figure it's pretty much true......then she asked me about my ride in the ambulance and i said i drove here by myself....looking back i should have called the kids or gotten an ambulance, but oh my goodness i've gone through a lot of 911 days in this little world of mine.  and so much of the time nothing can be done except wait and pray.

wait, be still, be quiet and pray.

this pain in my leg is different than a clot......i think it's could be a blockage in an artery MAYBE.  it comes and goes......sometimes it starts up in bed at night.  sometimes it starts up while or right after walking.......between the back pain and the muscle spasms and general mess i just don't know.  i'll call my doc and make an appt.......i'm wondering it it could be something called claudification, not sure if i'm spelling that right.......but i'll step up and go see the doc.  about my back, about my leg.......i promise.

right now i'm so glad i survived the morning.  upon waking the pain in my back was astonishing.  made it to the loo.......praise God!  made it back, but then it got even worse.  spasms on my left side in particular....couldn't lie back down, took it all i had to sit back up, yelled a southern rebel yell as i went from a lying down to seated position.  i took a muscle relaxer and managed to get to the living room chair.  had to sit up straight for about ten minutes, then gingerly sit at the back of the chair.......raising the recliner took time......had to wait/hang in there and try to breathe.  not a lot of room for fear but i defninitely had some of that mixing in with the mess.  finally i managed to put a blanket on, lie back slightly and the next thing i knew a few hours had gone by.

moved slowly and realized the pain had gone into the turtle shell for the most part.....definitely moving carefully but well enough to scramble eggs and cut up an orange........thank GOD for all blessings this day!

it's now early afternoon, i'm more like my normal messed up spinal self.......the pain is down by 60%.......i made a casserole out of this and that.  those twirly pasta noodles, ground beef, swiss cheese, low sodium chicken stock, garlic powder, pepper, no salt seasonings......mushroom soup, mushrooms.......twirly pasty noodles are called rotini....yay i just remembered.  i threw in some sour cream......forgot to add onions.......lol,  this is your basic what's in the frig moment kind of recipe.  this could be good or it could be oh no what wasssss she thinking????? we'll know soon enough, got it baking in the oven.

my sinuses are sooo messed up.  took some daytime liquid meds, helps a little.....crap.  when i was researching my left leg pain i noticed that there is a test they can do to see if it's a blockage or not........

this is some of the stuff i was reading:

It might be a clot, but it seems more unlikely than likely .......between the spinal issues, the spasms and this leg pain it could be more than one medical issue.  ........i'll turn off the music in a minute and call the doc before i eat lunch.....i PROMISE.  thanks for the concern and the ideas about everything.........love you, praying for you this very day!

xxxxooooooxxxxxxxooooooooo we all need extra hugs and smisses........smisses are kisses made out of s'mores!!!!!!!!!!  your idiot pal.......in georgia.
