Thankful for everything I have

I'm so thankful as I finally get to watch the news and for the first time am seeing the destruction that was bestowed on my neck of the woods. I am thankful and lucky that all we lost was our power, that was restored but there are 1000's that lost everything they own. I watched the news and updates in tears and with. Tears flowing watching the homeowners talk and cry about losing everything they had worked their entire lives for. I'm saddened about the lives that were lost but also happy that so many millions were unharmed during what could have been a complete disaster as the entire state of Florida was affected and all of southern Georgia as well.

I will be keeping this experience in my mind when I complain or want to complain about something that is superficial and can be replaced easily!! Thank you to everyone that kept us in your thoughts and prayers, it was a great strength of encouragement for me this past week!!
