Thankful, but . . .
Ok after 3 wks of very little sleep and one long night of no sleep (maybe I should have given in to early Black Friday shopping, at least it might have been productive), I've reached my tolerance level with it. Before this started, I has an unexpected encounter with a corn product and it got my immune system all hyped up. I figured that it was causing some problems in the absorption of the anti-depressent I'm taking to help counteract the depression I get when I get glutenated or maized. I know this drug can cause insomnia, but usually that only has occurred when titrating up or at higher concentrations than I'm taking. grrrrrr. At point, I don't know if going off the drug is the right thing or not. Not sleeping isn't helping my mood. I'm the primary breadwinner in a male dominated field that doesn't do emtions well and a boss that I don't trust. But this is a stressful time in general for me (don't handle birthdays or family holidays well), so do I keep taking it and hope the medication titrates back up enough that I can sleep? Or, do I need to consider that more corn is getting though my diet than I'm really aware?
Most of the time I can deal with the whole celiac thing and the additional physical crap it has brought to my life, but It is really messing with the effectiveness of the drugs I'm taking and there for with my productivity on a whole new level. To be in a constant state of titration is exhausting mentally and physically. What is it doing to the other maintance drugs I'm on? Thankfully, my blood pressure isn't that high and my reproductive organs have never worked, so if I'm not absorbing those drugs effectively, it isn't so bad. Right?
Why do fruits and vegetables have to be coated in corn waxes!?!
