Thank you for all of the support
You are all so cherished and appreciated. Your messages have uplifted me. I hope to reply to all of your individual messages soon.
My poor husband tells me, I was not even making sense I was so exhausted last night. We are home from Michigan, though the funeral is not until tomorrow. Shifrah is surrounded by friends and family right now. The funeral will be tomorrow. Fred's autopsy showed enlarged heart. He had a gastric bypass about 4 years ago and has had major health problems since. I plan to return in a few weeks, when the hubub is over and she is alone.
While in Michigan, we took turns sleeping at the house with the family, caring for the 4 year old, being with Shifrah, and being with her step-children (7th and 8th grade,) and of course caring for Grayson. Grayson was funny as he would laugh when people cried. Don't think he understands others crying. The biggest issue for Shif and the kids, besides being grief-stricken, is now the absent dead beat mom (left them when they were tiny) now wants custody of the step children. They do not want to go because while they've had contact with mom more recently, their home and friends and family are with Shifrah. Despite everyone telling this woman, including kids and school counselor, she is insisting she will take the kids. What a mess. Those poor babies. And for Shif to be a widow at 30 and have to fight for 2 of her kids. She's the one that has hauled them to the doctor, gone to all their basketball games, coached the cheerleading squad. Financial issues are huge, too, but I think she has a person in place to help sell Fred's bass boat, suburban, and other things so that she can keep the house. She did none of the finances before, so this will be a new journey for her because with all of his recent medical bills, they are not good.
I, though not feeling very well (darn mestinon stomach and fatigue), am off to see Erma in Green Bay, who is now able to walk in hall with walker and assist and then get some food for husband. Erma did get a unit of blood yesterday, but I expect that discharge will be soon. I will arrange for a transport, so that I do not have to worry about that. I had dear friends watching over Erma and her sister Alice while I was gone.
I also missed bowling with the church's developmentally disabled group. I guess our phone was ringing off the hook as I usually call the ones I take to the friends group events. I had a friend getting their rides in order, but they weren't contacted individually. I had to check in with several of them.
I am so looking forward to IVIG. Two days of sleep. LOL

Oh, Debbie,
Wish I could send you some of my new found strength. You need it even more than I. Hang in there with the Mestinon, it was months before I could really tolerate more than 30 at a time, but now 60 is no big deal. In the beginning, I split it and took it more often or would chew half and take the other half with food. It was such a relief to be on a four hour schedule and I am not as tightly scheduled as you! Holding you and your adopted family in the light. I think judges are more enlightened these days and will take the children\'s wishes as well as the children\'s welfare into consideration. b.
Debbie, your plate is over flowing, and continue prayers for all. I know here in Texas if a child is 12 or older they can choose who to live with, so maybe there also. Much luck in that area, prayers that the best will be done for the kids, big hugs from Texas, Annette
Prayers & positive thoughts - to you, and all your family & friends.
(Go Erma!)
You are a wonder!!! So many people you are able to help. God Bless you and your family. I also think that when the children are a certain age, their desires are taken into account.
