Thank Goodness !!!!

Thank Goodness ! I finally got in touch with my niece, and confirmed that she is going to give me a ride to the grocery store today ! Whoo Hoo !!! LOL ! That was a huge relief to say the least. If hadn't been able to get in touch with her today, I would be left wondering when I'd be able to go get some much needed groceries. It stinks not having a car. 
Even if I had a car though, I wouldn't be able to drive it because of my knees. Plus, it's probably a good thing that I don't have a car anyway since there's no way I'd be able to afford the upkeep of a car. When you start adding up all of the expenses involved; gas, maintenance, tires, repairs, insurance, tag & title. How could I possibly afford all of that when I'm barely surviving on Social Security Disability ? The obvious answer is " Not at all ! I couldn't possibly afford it all ! "
So that leaves me with being forced to depend on others every time I need to go anywhere.
It's just as well that I don't have any extra money to spend on any sort of fun activity, since I'd have no way to go out to do it - whatever it would be. 
I wish I had some real friends that actually had the time to spare to come over and visit, and do fun things together with me from time to time. That would nice rather than having to practically beg a so-called friend to come over for a long overdue visit.
