I've got the monastery right here :)
I woke up this morning and got some clothes on
and went to get coffee. I felt free and with good attitude...
I drove home and set down on the couch and sipped the coffee and played with Blue.
I felt free and too free after a bit, if that makes sense..I couldn't see
rhyme or reason...until I finally remembered to just take one step
in front of the other and then to take care of someone
else...that someone else was Blue. Thank god for Blue!
I played and stroked him for a while...until he was overstimulated and started
to nip....I then thought about what to do next...and I thought about it-
and the whole idea came to me that the monastery that I seek - is right here
with me at home... I am free and give myself the plodding steps forward - the ritual
and routine - to deal with and structure my day are elemental - essential and healing - to my day.
I'll jump in the shower now - and set about cleaning what needs to be cleaned.

Definitely a monastery of one here - I go out there to grab a coffee or go on a zoom call and now i am transitioning
back to monkitude.
Blue will meow the chants at 430p this afternoon.
One of the spots I have is a space inside with some small things that are calming to me.
A friend keeps a small flat container with enough sand in it to rake back and forth.
The peace of mind and spirit is within you, so you're doing the right thing that works for you and Blue!
