testing myself

Living this week apart from my therapist, whom I have been very dependent on,

is something I am having difficulty with. I am trying to challenge myself to see

it as somewhat of a personal test.

If I do move crosscountry. I will be without her. I will be without the major anchors in my life

of father, stepmother and my siblings. I will have new work, new social community and a new therapist...

But perhaps this week, in modicum, is a dry run for something like that.

I'm trying real hard to see the positives and my own possibility and potential tonight

and I think I have it. This writing an 'end of day' journal is something that so often helps

me 'download' the end of the day experience.

Ok well, I hope you guys are doing well and have a good night.

I work bright and early tomorrow morning - and will most likely do a morning greet

before I begin. I'm looking forward to seeing what 'fish' makes of the morning check in.

Peace and good vibes,

Mark

I expressed myself here and then went about my routine to go to bed. I found myself, in the aftermath, of trying to determine my place in the world. Like that satellite hookup remember Arfie? I thought about the cultures I am drawn towards. I thought about the design that I live with and also the design I really like. It all kind of made sense, the whole idea of fashion and trends and why people follow them a. For novelty and b. To keep au courant…
Strangely, I tend to so tell myself that my thoughts and impulse to share with others is excessive and inconvenient or whatever that finally I just need to trash all that negative bs and just communicate and keep communicating!

nope, i don't remember the satellite hookup, but ? ? ? the communications/power grid analogy? satellites are a part of both grids. no matter. it's just an analogy and the best analogies are the ones we make our own. plagiarism allowed. insert science axiom here. "if i can see far, it is because i am standing on the shoulders of giants."

i'm loving the idea of treating your therapy-free week like a test run, buttttttaaaa. . . do i remember you saying your therapist is a tele-doc that you can reach from any corner of the globe?

i don't know why i like that colloquialism so much. globes don't have corners. lost in metaphor AGAIN?
