Teetering
As I felt the wave of nausea and dizziness from the Fentanyl patch start to hit, I also felt intense despair come over me. I've spent the evening trying to distract myself from this horrible feeling of lonliness.
Too much of my life has been spent battling this feeling. At this point, with so much physical pain, I no longer even question why the lonliness...it simply is.
I don't want to be around anyone or talk to anyone, either. At least I can take sleep meds and shut down for a while.

I so understand the not wanting to be around anyone. Not only do you not feel good but you especially don\'t feel like putting on and pretending you feel better than you do. I just want everyone, even though I truly love people, but just want them to stay away and leave me in peace. I know I look bad and just don\'t want to go to the trouble of makeup and fixing my hair....ya know?
You have to because of your job, I know. You probably feel like you just need a good peaceful rest without worrying about a constant coming and going of people.
You need some major pain relief too and good sleep!
Hugs sweet girl
Cherry, I am so sorry to hear this. I want you to know I care. And I understand too.
I understand your loneliness. I don\'t have anyone. No friends, no caregiver, just myself. I don\'t know what to do to get friends. I have been on the patch. It very strong. i am so sorry you are feeling this way. It so hard some days. I had pain for the last week. I unfortunately had to be medicated. I sometimes feel like I am losing days because of being medicated. I would have to say I feel depressed also. I am having a difficult time. Hopefully you have family around you or someone who does care, it can make it better. I would tell you should talk to a therapist about how your feeling. I need to do it also. I think we all understand. I hope that you will feel better. I sorry If I sound so bad. I am going through a different kind or loneliness. I am tierd of being so isolated. I need to join something social. I can\'t stand being alone any more. This week has been hard because of the weather. I hope that your mood approves. I can understand when you are living with others and have no time for yourself with out other aking how are you doing. what is wrong. I very much care I am so very sorry. I understand and do care. I hope you feel better.
I, too, understand the cloak of lonliness chronic pain throws over us. Can you take anything for the nausea? The withdrawal from the outside world or even talking on the phone. So familiar. You\'re so supportive of others. I truly hope you get to feeling better. Comforting hugs.
Im so sorry your feeling down its the worst feeling I know, and your pain wont help its that viscious circle we get on. Be kind to your self do only what you want to do, if that\'s nothing then go with that. I pray for you that this week is a better one for you, god bless, Susie x
