talked to the doctor

I talked to my doctor yesterday and he is unhappy that my symptoms don't seem to have lifted. He asked how I was doing and I told him I felt roughly the same, and gave him a list of my symptoms like I had written down in yesterday's journal entry.
He said that it shouldn't be taking this long for the meds to kick in (it's been about a month). So he has asked me to up my dosage for a few days to 90mg then to 120mg of the Cymbalta as well as making sure to take the Nuvigil every morning. He wants me out of bed and on a schedule. It's a lot of pressure. I realized I hated taking the Nuvigil because when I am out of bed, the thoughts just keep circling and I feel like I'm just waiting for time to pass. It's painful.
But I upped my dosage last night to 90mg already and noticed that I felt this buzzing feeling. I had a hard time falling asleep and took 2 Ambien instead of one. I have to say that when I woke up today, I didn't feel as bad as I have been upon waking usually. It could be a few things, but I do think the medicine is a contributor. I took my Nuvigil and also had some coffee, so I'm definitely awake.
I did notice that once I'd taken the larger dosage of the Cymbalta last night, time didn't seem to drag as much, but maybe that's attributable to that buzzing feeling I've been having.
My doctor wants to see me up and out of bed and ultimately back at work. I'm trying to take it one day at a time.
I really hope the increased dosage kicks me into gear but I also hope it doesn't give me the side effects of severe nausea and fatigue that I had in the beginning. I definitely don't feel fatigued at the moment. My stomach feels a little funny, but I'm not sure if it's actually nausea or a bit of anxiety...it could just be all of the drugs and caffeine.
The weather has let up a little today. We'll see how long it lasts. It's mild and even a bit sunny right now. I wonder if it will last until a few hours from now. The mild part of the day seems to be disappearing around 2 these days.
Only time will tell.
