Talked to my Doctor

I finally called my doctor last night about the hallucinations, and when he called me back today he told me to start taking more of my Risperdal. I'm hoping I can stay out of the hospital. I kinda wanted to go in yesterday, but now I'm feeling better. I think it has to do with me missing my morning dose of Risperdal on Wednesday. I took it that night so I didn't miss it for the day, but I think it could have messed up my blood levels for a while. I'm going to take my doctor's advice and take a dose tonight. I hope I feel better soon.
Geo hasn't been sleeping lately, and he was cranky today. I wish there was something I could do for him. We had a discussion today about me going into the hospital and how I've been doing mentally for a while. I want to prove him wrong that every time I say I'm going into the hospital I work myself up into going. That might be true, actually, so I want to prove him and myself wrong. I just give up and stop fighting, and I need to keep fighting. I can't be constantly giving up on things. I need to get stronger. I've been going into the hospital far too much. I am better than this. I don't always need to go.. Sometimes I just need to fight harder.
Mood today was okay... I wasn't hallucinating much, so that's good, but I slept all day and didn't get any exercise in. I need to get to the gym tomorrow. I've been waking up early lately, around 11am and can't fall back asleep for a couple hours. I've also been staying up past midnight, so I haven't been getting my sleep, and that might be contributing to my hallucinations as well. Food today was okay... I had a late night snack last night and I put that towards breakfast and barely met my calories. If I hadn't eaten last night I would have been way below.

i hope the risperadol helps you, it can be amazing just skipping one dose how it can affect you. by raising the level, i hope the hallucinations end for you. as for going to the hospital, i kinda agree with geo. we all need to keep up the fight but i believe you when you say you have to go in if suicadal. i dont want your insurance to stop paying for going to often. fighting the illness is hard, all we can do is fight and hope to come out of it. is geo helpfull when you are in special need? i hope your sleeping gets better so you can be up and eating and living the way you want. maybe all the sleep contributes to depression? many hugsss
