Talk with Dietician
I just talked to the Dietician here. It was interesting. She has a strange concept about how much water a person should drink. If I drank as much as she was saying I would bloat up like a balloon from the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.
Then during our conversation somehow it turned to one of my meds - prednisone. She told me that one of it's side affects is weight gain ! Weight gain ! NO ONE told me that ! They didn't say a damn word about it in Brandon Regional Hospital, and until TODAY they hadn't said a damn word about it here either !
I hope and pray that they are WRONG about that side affect ! OR at least I hope that the chances of dealing with that side affect are very very slim ! PLEASE GOD ... PLEASE keep me from dealing with that side affect ! PLEASE ! I want to LOSE weight.... GOD FORBID... NOT GAIN WEIGHT ! OH NO !!! DEFINITELY NO !
Other that those two things my conversation with her went fine. She seemed like a fairly nice person. I just honestly think that she's not extremely bright. After all, she's not a nurse... not a doctor, and not a medical career type of person at all... Her thing is centered around FOOD !
Too many people think that they're an EXPERT on EVERYTHING ! Well, I've got NEWS for them... THEY ARE NOT EXPERTS !
.... Well, moving on.....
Right now it's about 5:06 pm.... I'm laying in bed, STILL dressed, and waiting on dinner to get here.
I hope that it's something good because I'm very hungry. Lunch was good, but it really wasn't much food at all.
She said that the meals here are about a 2,000 calorie a day. That to me is a diet, I believe. At least compared to what I used to eat I would consider it a LOT less... and call it a diet.
