Taking stuff back and "that" song

I shared so many of my likes and loves with my ex and vice versa, that after he left I found I couldn't enjoy the things I loved.

I have steadily been taking those things back. Watching Waynes world as we speak!
But there are still some things that get me.
Often I will walk around and catch myself out. Like going through a market I found antique plains (he loved woodwork) and my isntant thought was "He'd love those" Then realised quickly "oh wait. He buggered off.

Music is a big thing. We loved music. There was a point he told me his song for me, that made him think of me was Little wing by Jimi Hendrix. I still can't go near that one.
They lyrics go:

Well she's walking through the cloudsWith a circus mindThat's running wildButterflies and zebras and moonbeamsAnd fairly talesThat's all she ever thinks aboutRiding the windWhen I'm sad she comes to meWith a thousand smilesShe gives to me freeIt's alright, she saysIt's alrightTake anything you want from meAnythingFly on, little wing

I don't get how you can let go of your little wing.

Some folks can let go all too easily, just as my stbx did. Stopped our reconciliation try and days later is with her new guy, leaving me lower than dirt and ready to cash it in. I\'ve always loved the group Chicago but there are three that get me.... Look Away....Hard Habit To Break....and Hard To Say I\'m Sorry. Journey also has some and I just heard I\'ll Be Alright Without You this morning and it almost tripped the waterworks.

Music can comfort you but it can also tear you apart. I saw sonething on Facebook last week that nailed it... \"A happy person hears the beat, a sad person hears the words\". Couldn\'t agree more...

Absolutely. So many things I love and it hurt too much. That song meant so much.
