taking pride and gratitude

I am just transitioning back to my life after having been on a zoom

call for an hour.

Initially I felt like I didn't know what to do with myself. I had impulses to

turn on the tv (but I was tired of staring at stuff on screens.) I thought

about eating food or sweets or drinking alcohol but I'm on a diet as well

as a budget and those were impulses which I aim to avoid.

I just decided while on the call, that though I felt that everyone on that call was so much

brighter and stronger than me, it was important that I told myself that "I have some of

those values too" and instead of just spiraling with insecurity and kind of singularity and implacabilty - I decided that I would just

give myself some gentle reminder that I have value and feel the mutuality and we were all just a peoples :).

So I am off the call now - and I am getting back to my life and to my world so to speak

and I am sensing I have not plan for the day - and cannot figure out what to do. At least I couldn't

at first. I pointed myself

back to my lessons learned this past few days and went back to managing my relationships and my care - and though it feels tainted with doubt right now -

I am reminding myself to add to the consideration of getting on my way with my day

while recognizing that I have a pretty nice place to live, I have a gratitude for my life -

That there's some room for a little bit of this and that - pros and con - but mostly pros -

while a part of the group out there - so maybe I'll take pride in my home - and my day -

It's a start... I'll get on with my day! :)

I vacuumed the place. I'll do some more.

I just feel like I need to own my home life (taking care of it I mean) like I do at work.
I need to give myself an image to fulfill it with a prideful sense.
I keep a very orderly organized home. I clean as I go - but I have been mournfully bad
at the big deep cleanings. And so I need to give myself an image inside my head to
fulfill or try and motivate myself somehow. I'd love to have a housekeeper come
once a month. But I would rather save money I suppose. Anyways - not sure yet if
I will cave to that.
I need to do some filing.

At this moment I am thinking about what it would take to make me happy. I know how I would ideally like it.
So I will do that.

My home is not immaculate. Its “lived in.” I vaccuum and dust and wash floors and sinks and counters and clean out the fridge and wash linens and clean the bathtub but it’s okay for a little lived in feel. That’s how I live anyway. But it does feel good to do deep cleans. But not on my lazy Sunday afternoon list haha!!!!

Relax a little today Marko!
