'taking on' the day
I had the emotional and mental space today to see that my family members
are each taking on their day....giving it structure...taking on responsibilities....
adulting...and fitting in time for excercise and fun things as well.
So, I feel I can, with that kind of regard, do the same.

Sounds like a great plan, Mark!
thanks gr8ful1! I get so lost in thought that I have to find my reasoning
someway somehow again. My folks are so patient with me.
They know I try hard and I am industrious with doing my work
and taking care of my apartment and Blue. Just sometimes,
when alone, I can get so lost in the ether...so to speak.
I know we can't be busy all the time but outside of my to do list...
I want to find some other things to do. I am planning on doing
some outreach to the neighboring county (Ventura.) It's feeding
the needy which I will do with my parents. I'd like to find something
that I do on my own... Thanks gr8ful1!!
I might go back to the Treepeople. And I did join a group called
"Everwalk" - which is a walking team for special causes (I think different
for each event.) We'll see!
I'd never heard of TreePeople, but I looked them up. What a great group! Hope you'll keep us posted on the outreach you do!
Thanks ladybug!! I will!! They don’t have any events near me right now, but when they return to Paramount Ranch I’ll go!
Volunteer work sounds like a great, low-pressure outlet! Love that your parents are wonderful role models! And, yes, please keep us posted (with pics ;)) of your efforts. It sounds like you live in a very nice part of CA. Every late-January, my brother and his wife leave the cold of VA and rent an airbnb in SoCal for a month. He recently sent a pic of "view of Dana Point." They thought about moving to CA, but its high cost of living and traffic has kept them in VA. Sounds like you are away from all that!
thanks gr8ful1!!!
