taking everything to excess
I have had four cups of coffee today.
Unfortunately, I do crud like this sometimes.
Where if something is in front of me - and it tastes so good -
I won't stop myself from being a piggus.
Now I am dealing with my fogginess and mental
ireggularity.
I can do it though. I'll keep on keeping on. I have got to
manage the continuation of establishing myself here in
Maryland and I have to remember to recognize that I am.
Sometimes I need to be enlightened about these things,
but when I don't have someone telling me that indeed I am doing
the work needed, and the work is being well done, I need to
allow room to tell myself that I am doing so as well.
I hope you all know you can come on here and get
a reality check if you need it!
peace and namaste!

while I live here in fear of making a wrong move -
I also have to understand that my inner critic or my inner
attention on my own standard needs to be cut with
a serious dose of living in the community and that
I am living in terms of others nearby and that helps
me not to get so self stuck
Positive reinforcement is something I tend to seek, too. I’m always quick to give it but am not often the recipient. It’s like Nikki said, “I need someone like me in my life.” :) So great that you see the importance of being your own cheerleader. My current reality is adjusting to a new med - Seroquel. I’m always sensitive to side effects and am hoping they wear off soon as my body gets used to it. I’ve been feeling like I’m on a mood rollercoaster (AM’s are tough but then I feel much better in the afternoons) and hope that ride ends soon. Enjoy the rest of your day! Hugs! P. S. Reminded all my friends to silence their phones for that 2:20 test alert and forgot to silence mine. :). Spirit and I ‘bout fell off the couch!
thanks susan! i hope the adjustment to the seroquel happens as quickly as you need it.
Seroquel is rather potent stuff!
I so appreciate your message! Is Spirit a cat!? - pics??!! if you're up to it. :)
my current reality is that i have struggling so much with trying to be the master of my own identity
that I haven't realized that the circumstances I have are in fact the fruit of that -
I am living the single life at 55 on my own in a monastery and doing pretty much
about that.
I am so grateful I have the meal preparations to go down to in a moment - I have my friends here and offline- my wonderful music
on the radio - Blue and family
Thanks, Mark! I introduced Spirit in one of my first journals but just added another one. She loves my Down vest! Sounds like you have so much for which to be grateful!
thanks Susan! SHE'S ADORABLE!! SO SWEET!! :-) thanks for posting her pic!!
Wow lots to pack in in response.! At work when there are a lot of things to touch upon I usually copy paste then write my response to each point in a different color. I can’t do that here so will try to be succinct! Hehe.
First off, yes to what Susan said I said haha. It’s always a hope of mine to meet more meaningful people (or person?) who reflect back the qualities we give to others. Reciprocating and listening with intent and empathy. You may be 55 and living in a monastery, but sounds like the perfect time to reflect on future navigating and how you will step into your steps, big and small, to achieve what it is you are looking for.
Walk the walk and talk the talk!
I know you’re artsy and communicative. Sometimes I think direct and “no lingering questions” type of communication works best of all to solve problems. Otherwise it can sometimes just be drama-infused living that never goes anywhere of substance. I feel like I have gone through my own reconstruction of friendships, where it’s quality over quantity. I fear though maybe my own trust issues pushed away TOO many people long ago.
So I’m trying to rebuild yet again. And it really takes knowing yourself and who you are to locate what is meant just for you.
Now on to look for the pic of Spirit the Cat!!!
