taking care of the essentials

I went into the city today (LA) to go to the Hammer Museum.

I took a couple of selfies there and my god have I gotten old and puffy faced looking lol.

So no posts of myself just yet!haha Vanity is a sign of health and confusingly so is not giving a flying f---.

After taking myself to the LA I really felt like 'in my convalescence' life will, unless I have a say

in it (!), pass me by. I realized that today while in LA.

I'll go back somewhere else in the city again soon and try and do that

at least once a month - for lunch and a museum or gallery. It was a breath of fresh air!

I also will look into buying a life insurance policy for myself. That may sound a non sequitur...

yet it's an extension of the lessons of the day. I need to keep myself vibrant through the city life exposure..

and then also have to take care of where and when the aging, and end of life issues come. I am almost 55 but

currently "I'm not going anywhere" - I just like to be responsible for such things. I know

I'd like to be buried at the monastery's cemetery.

Anyways, things are good. As much as I would like to cocoon and rest my anxious fears and sensations here

in my apartment - and retreat into 'my own world' (though I need to at times)- I know I also have

to buck up and take care of the essentials just like everyone else. No matter which station of life,

we're all hopefully having some fun as well as planning for all of  life and its stages :).

Peace to you guys!!! Much love!1781f1b87ba03e5c4aed41f89202b165ea0f13e9.png
