Taking Care of Business
Yes, I know. I haven't been around much. My boss came into my office a month or so ago and we had the big talk. She vowed to try to help me get myself together, and, by-dingies, it's working. I've been working my little tushie off at my job, thinking, and getting the job done. On Friday both my boss and her boss came in to tell me what a good job I've been doing. Pat self on back and return nose to grindstone. DS, alas, has been a victim in this. I haven't had a lot of time to spend on here, not so much because I was addicted to DS before, as much as I was addicted to doing anything BUT my work before. But, as I've been focusing on my work full time, I haven't made room for DS into the equation. I should be able to spend a *little* more time on DS now, as a good portion of my backlog is caught up and I find that I have a little bit of free time. This will probably be enough for spot checks and occassional responses to posts. I know I've gotten a lot of hugs lately that I haven't returned. I thank you all, but I hop you forgive my lack of response on this. I'll try to be around a little more often. Huggles to all of you. Steve
