taking a moment to regroup
I woke up this morning with no plan. A day off and nothing pressing. I had thought to go to the gym
but I decided to take a shower. I felt dirty and I don't like feeling dirty. Right before I started to write
this journal I felt really weary, weak and upset. But then just the action of getting in touch with how I felt - like a re-centering - an alignment of a kind - seemed to bring back my optimism and enthusiasm. A good thing to remember!
I watched 60 minutes last night. I loved their segment on the MIT Media Lab. I love learning about new scientific break throughs and technological advancements.
Before I watched it - I toggled mentally about some ideas. I surmised that if I want something in life, I really must learn
to give it to myself. No one is going to give it to me. So as I watched the segment on MIT I thought if I really like technology then why not put myself on a path towards working in it. No one is going to do it for me. So be brave and don't worry but just do it!
I'll take a moment to regroup and just start cleaning up my home.
