Taking a break from DS

I've been giving it some thought and I've decided to take a "leave of absence" from DailyStrength, at least for a little while.
When I first joined this site, which wasn't that long ago, I was going through a very difficult time personally. I didn't really expect to find friends on here, more like information relating to bipolar disorder, but to my surprise, I did make friends and have had some fantastic conversations. This has been extremely helpful, and enjoyable, in battling the severe depression I was sinking into. This site and the people on it provided a pleasant distraction from an unhappy lifestyle that I couldn't get out of and memories that were still too fresh to outrun.
However, now that time has passed, my depression has mostly lifted and my memories have faded, but I'm still using this site as a distraction. Only it's a distraction from life itself, from doing the things that I should be doing. I come on here and spend hour after hour of my time doing nothing that'll improve my current life style. This would be fine for a little while, but I'm upset to realize that four months have already gone by with zero progress towards my over all happiness/ satisfaction with myself.
For this reason, and a few others that I don't feel the need to go into, I'm taking a sabbatical from not only this site, but online life in general. I'm putting my computer pretty much off-limits, in hopes that I'll get so bored that I'll start doing what needs to be done, even if it's not very entertaining.
I'll be back eventually, I just need a breather. OXOXOX to everyone! Take care of yourselves while I'm gone...
