take your broken heart and turn it into art

the title of this entry came from something Carry Fisher once said. She was brilliant

and had BP. What I am reminded of today - and maybe what I am addressing is what to do with my days

after I come home from work. My days might be spotted with times of dealing with the management of

my mood and stuff - but I dream a lot while at work (well some) and know there is something beyond what I do, that I can

and want to achieve.  Though avoiding the discomfort at times at work and where I live can sometimes blind me from

the progress I could be making, I realize now it's important to maybe put that stuff in a metaphorical 'sack over my shoulder' and keep

moving on - keep at the project or my goal. I'll try not to be blind to my goals - and I hope these 'breadcrumb' journals can guide me back to my truth north if I vary offcourse at times.

Hi Mark...one of the things i do in poa is to post music based on what I'm feeling, motivation to move, where I've been, where I want to get to.

Philip Philips song "Unpack Your Heart" ..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myHWD6Pch8U&list=PLJ75Jffw9TifryRq3g0RxrvNrpncgc_sP....the words seem to just feed my soul, which I'm finding after along and painful time since I had to place my son in a homeless shelter to obtain services for him...dealing with all the emotional upheaval, and going from a toxic, crazy life to silence...hard to move forward. Best, ml
