sustainability

I think at times I want, with the blooming of wisdom, that the great spirit of life will open

and I'll be carried forward in a kind of 'flow.' Though I am realizing today

it's very much about still keeping working at the tasks that need to be done

and 'opened eyed' to the life I need to keep managing, shaping and creating.

Sustainability is a trigger word for me in that my therapist has candidly said to me..

"I think you are smart enough to figure life out, but your condition may make it

very hard for me to sustain it." - and so ANOTHER BIG REASON TO BE GRATEFUL

for the monastery. I have learned so much from being here - it's given me

the safety and sanctuary I've needed. I have also been so grateful about being

able to continue to work while being here.

I wrote a big thanks to the Elder who has made it possible. It is also time

to write the Abbess - and I thanked my deaconness teacher.

Things are good, just having a nice night after a day of chores.

Gotta go give Blue some majore attention. He deserves it!

You are keeping a level head about your condition. That is a sustainable accomplishment worthy of some respect.

Gratitude for each day, I do believe, will help lead to better days managing your mission statement, don’t you think?

Hope today is a good day. Focus on what is in front of you then the big picture will paint itself. Small spaces are good starts.
