sussing things out
for some reason, early in the morning as I woke up - this has been the case for two days
now - I have found that my sense of my own experience has been one of dismay.
The feeling really 'has tried' to overpower me but I have had the wisdom, thankfully, to ride it
out. I got up this morning - felt so at the mercy of life - and just went about the routine
of making coffee and checking my phone.
I was thinking about my past experience at the museum and my not liking one of the people
who works there. I mean it's not hard for me to understand - to somehow work out why
i reacted so and why i should just keep at it even so - but it really threw me off my
course as her personality was really imposing and dark. I called out the next day I was supposed to volunteer/
work with them. I needed that day off. So, I'll go back again to help them de-install the show
on the 21st . The reassurance I'm giving myself is just to stay in my own lane.
There are different vibes whereever I'll go and so I ought to be prepared for that.
It certainly has been the case with my work at the market. I haven't always gotten along
with the folks there - but by persistance - staying in my own lane and doing the work -
I've created my own space there - and I think earned the basic respect of my coworkers.
So..I'm telling myself - now in terms of this gallery work - 'there will always be different vibes'
and so keep in my own lane - despite there being so few people there.
...
So this is me sussing things out and just venting about them...which is something I need to do...
I have a day of housecleaning ahead. I need to just keep on keeping on...keep on putting one step
in front of the other... :) peace!

I think keeping to routine is helpful when we aren't feeling right. I know they help me. And, some days just putting one foot in front of the other is all we can do to hang in there.
Thanks Becky! Agreed!
