Survived...

So I survived the very dreaded office Christmas party lunch today.  I was dreading going as I do every year. My co-workers are not my friends, they are not nice, and it's not a good atmosphere for me, bunch of catty and back-stabbing women.  My counselor told me to just keep looking busy with my smartphone and text people, so that helped.  BEST thing that happened recently is that I most likely have a new job this coming Friday, went on an interview and the new guy is very interested and asked me to work a few hours on Friday.  I'm sure I'll do fine and then I'll saunter into my current bosses' office and do one heck of a happy dance.
