surfs up
Feelings are much like waves, we can't stop them from coming but we can choose which one to surf. ~Jonatan Mårtensson Thought this was a great quote for me today. I always try to calmly ride it out. I have found that bemoaning the fact that I am down just tends to accentuate the deepness of the mood. So I try to focus on just the small pleasures of relaxing. I put my mind to use on focussing on the good things I have and what the near future holds, in this case another trip. So, even though I am still not back up neither am I any deeper. I thought this little guy was cute. It gave me a chuckle. See, it is the little things that really count. Thanks to all who responded to my journal and offered words of wisdom and support. Debbie

I try to do the same thing. Relax and know that it won\'t last. I make plans for when I will feel better. I am making collages of my animals, well the ones from the last 20 years. That would be 12. I went to the discount store and got some really nice frames for $3.00-$4.00 each. I was in shock because they are really nice and a good variety. All different. I will take a pic when I am done. Just as I was feeling better I forgot yesterdays morning meds. I was upset because I thought I was clmbing up. I was almost relieved when I saw I hadn\'t taken them because that would explain my mood. Sure enough I feel much better today. Savor every minute of your vaca. xo
