Super Frustrated

I lost my cool a bit tonight.  The night was going fine, but I got so frustrated that I lashed out at my wife and started an argument.  I let my emotions get the best of me.  I want us to be happy so badly and this past week she's been barely smiled at me.  I hurt her and I need to understand that.  That was 100% wrong of me to do that.  She's an amazing woman who does care about me, otherwise she wouldn't stick with me through this mess that I put us in.  Yes, she has her flaws like everyone, but it's no excuse.  I know how much she loves her cats and I picked a fight about it.
I'm frustrated with myself for not doing the right thing and putting us in a predicament that is going to take time to fix.  I need to be patient with her and continue to show her that I am doing everything that I can to improve myself for our marriage.  What's wrong with me?? I'm so annoyed with myself.  I'm near tears tonight and I need to be an understanding and better husband.  She isn't going to let up on how she's feeling for and for good reason! I know what I need to do.  We need to rekindle our love and I need to make that happen.  I won't lose her without a fight and my best foot forward.
We say I love you every day and that's encouraging, but I need to show her.  Actions speak louder than words.  She's my everything.  My heart and my soul goes to her as my wife and my best friend.  What I did tonight is not what you do to your best friend and soul mate.  Inexcuseable on my part.  I feel terrible.
