SUGAR WOODS

This is the olde outhouse at the sugar woods camp. Even it looks nice in the snow. it is not used anymore we have indoor plumbing. thank heavens!! My friend and her husband plus Michael and I went to our sugar woods for the afternoon on Sunday. We took some coffee and cookies and just walked around and then played cards. It was a very nice afternoon. Very calm and peaceful. The sap was not running then but it started the next day. They are not yet one hundred percent tapped that would be 35 000 taps but they are almost there. Then they have a little repairing to do. But the sap has been running and they have had three or four boils already. This is early. I hope it bodes well for a good season. Last year was pitiful!!
 
I am not feeling quite up to snuff: mild depression, lethargic, teary, no interest in doing much. I am forcing myself to do things because it is so...easy to fall into the trap of just letting the BP have its way. Then the next thing you know you’re in bed and a mess. Yesterday at 5:30 I was to see my pdoc so I drove down to the clinic and it was locked up solid!! I know the weather was a tad nasty in the morning but school was not cancelled so I am not sure what’s up with that. I’ll have to call today.
 
Other than this I am keeping busy. I am running my daughter around for job interviews. Plus she is moving in with her boyfriend at the end of the month and needs some help packing.
