Struggling to make my own path

I guess this has been the major challenge in my life. I got sick when I started to individuate at the end of college. Forging my own path conflicted with my lack of development and all of the minefields that seem to be in my path.
i worked though and ultimately got sick again, very very severely. I came back to my family from where I was living and convalesced for around a decade. I got this job at the market and have held tight to it knowing it was a very very big blessing!!

I'm just starting to see how I am coming to that crossroads again for creating my life while with my family and creating it successfully and responsibly.

I think I can do this!

I’m in a daze in terms of time zones right now. I hope you are feeling strong and confident and good about your decisions. Be true to you! I think many of us here have ebbed and flowed in sickness and times of convalescence. We are better for having survived through it all! You can do anything you set your heart and mind on, Marko!

i struggle with the imagery of "finding your path." if i am not already on my path through life, where have i been?

it be those crossroads that watch for. (i wrote, ". . .and plan" but decided not to tempt the fates. when i start p-wording (planning) the poltergeists rally for some jolly mischief.) i didn't get to choose my path --i certainly didn't choose to be a child prostitute-- but i do get to choose which way to turn at those crossroads.
