struggling but who knows...mother necessity 'where would we be?"

I have been really traveling down a depressive trend/road today.

There have been good moments but then I looked at the dating site

I am a member of and that sent me downward and broken.
I thought of going to my favorite pub - but decided to wait

until tomorrow... Pub life and down feelings are probably or in fact are

not a good recipe.

I did realize though just before writing here - that my emotional pattern

might be to latch onto the pain I have, and create something with it -

maybe not the greatest tool for inspiration - but it does get me going...

I think though to better look at that pain in the light of it's witnessing (which seems to be the inspiration)

as not the 'be all' and 'end all' of my modus operandi.

Pain exists and it brings us down but we can't stop moving forward. We can't sit frozen.

We may want to have it 'witnessed'  but heck we're all dealing with issues

that might seem bigger than we can handle so it's important to maybe

acknowledge the pain but then create something or keep on target for what

I am trying to get done today.

It rained cats and dogs last night and it's very cold outside. It's a gray, wet day out there.

I've done some reading and a couple of errands. Now I think I am going to watch some PBS and get

on with my daily routine! :) I'll read some more too.

Sending peace out there!!

the power of 'witnessing' both in bad times and good is mighty powerful.

the power of witnessing. . .
i like, i like. another goodie. . .

again, i am reminded that feelings are not a segregated phenom. joy, sadness. etc., do not come in separate packages like twinkies and pork rinds. they swirl, twine and blend together like air and water. joys can enter into the saddest of moments and vice versa.

bear witness without judging and go where the heart takes you.

pass the pork rinds. those twinkies will rot the teeth.

thanks arfie! I think I'd rather have a twinkie - I brush and use Listerine. LOL

Good awareness, Marko.

I cannot bring myself to do the dating apps and so I am
Forcing myself in the new year to try in-person connection-making. I think I would just beat myself up judging and analyzing myself on “paper” like some recruitment system. Would totally depress me, but I guess it’s what really comforts many people.

Hope the weather clears up soon. Maybe the weather is also
Affecting your perspectives a bit?
