stopping for a short walk on DS Earth.
hello to the wonderfullest people on earth........hugs!
been in bed since i wrote last, thought i'd see what the world is up to in my absence.
fed the kitties, they are pleased and content........making some dinner. that's been a creative disaster, normally i'd laugh, but i'm saving laughs for later.
i spilled stuff on top of the stove...and sides and floor and sink (got the droppsies)......and then made an even bigger mess trying to clean up the mess on aisle five.
but ya know, points are awarded for all tries..........we know how hard it is.
i have love in my life. not a man by my side kind of love.......no, that's true, but i have an incredible Lord and Creator who watches over me. My son loves me, my daughter took me to the doc the day before and brought me healthy goods from the market where the farmers gather. I have loving pets, caring folks here and there that extend kindness and that is all within the auspices of love.
the man who checked on the traps talked with me about the little wonders God brings to our lives.......and I have all of you to talk to. this will pass........this long challenging flare will pass. hard to feel super hopeful at present.......but it won't be forever. i've learned that these illnesses are restless, ever changeable, just like the tides and the landscape.
eight more minutes until dinner. did i tell you my silliy of late? i got new silverware. for all of my adult life i've had a funny mix of utensils. a setting for four of one pattern and a setting for four of another pattern and then the odd mix, a different pattern of extra teaspoons and some odds and ends forks. a motley but reliable crew for meal times. i retired them, gave them a special farewell for service rendered.......and i'm donating them. i got a new set of service for 8. they are very shiny and pretty.
it's a little little thing, but since i eat at home so much i feel a rush of pleasure every time i open the drawer and see them all polished and bright........so here i sit at the grand old of 58 plus......with all matching silverware. it's not a deal breaker or maker, i get it, but it is nice. oh and a new non electric can opener too! lol........ha ha ho ho hee hee!
seems funny maybe but since food/eating is such a challenge lately i'm upping my game as i can. a prettier presentation.
this will be my first meal of the day.......ready in about 5 minutes, so i'm off to try some culinary delights. give thanks to God for this good food and then put my feet up and snuggle under a soft red blankie.........love to all. tut tut feels like pain......but the focus is to let is just roll along and do our best each day.

Wow, I know what you mean about the dropsies. I make so much more mess than would usually be made, but eventually I do get dinner made. I\'m glad you are getting some nourishment. Try to eat as many veggies as your body allows. So glad to hear about your silverware. Mine is mismatched like yours was. I\'m 38, so in 20 more years, maybe I can get a new set too. Smiles for you, dear little bird.
Glad you are feel up to eating. Hope you continue to improve. I, too, eat the majority of my meals at home by myself. Have only eaten out once in the last 6 weeks. Glad your kids have stepped it up for you. Hugs!
God is good! I never could have dealt with all the issues in my life without Him by my side. I am happy to hear you have a fancy set of matched silverware to eat with. Even in our isolation we can find pockets of joy. xoxo, ELLE
Happy to hear that the Lord is making His presence known in your life. We know He\'s there, but sometimes he is very quiet. Makes us sit and ponder.....and maybe being still is in \"the plan\"!!
Glad you\'re gonna eat. Hope the tummy doesn\'t reject the idea!!
Hope Annie and Rio are behaving.
Glad you saw Sara and had an actual encounter with her. I know that brings you joy!!!
Weekend hugs, Sparrow. Go snuggle! oxo
