Still Stupid Boy Drama
Dear Ezra,
I don't know what to think anymore. Stephen is incredibly supportive, but he doesn't really understand what I mean when I say I'm dealing with things to do with my mental health. When I have bad anxiety days/weeks, I don't think he knows what I mean. He keeps asking me what's stressing me out, and I don't know how to tell him it's nothing at all. Last week, I had no assignments due and no appointments to keep after Thursday. I spent the entire night struggling to breathe, growing dizzy, and feeling close to passing out. I felt awful without any reason, and he could not fathom that idea. It's not his fault, I'm happy he can't relate, but it just feels like a divide between us.
At the same time, I understand that if he struggled with mental health as much as I seem to, we would both be having a hard time staying afloat while helping the other. I don't know if it is better to be with someone who supports but can't relate, or with someone who can relate but is therefore unable to support.
