Still No Relief

My legs are still shaking as bad as yesterday. I have to go to the doctor tomorrow. I just have to see which doctor I need to see. I tried a nice hot bath today, and it worked for a while when I was in the bath, but as soon as I got out my legs started up again. I actually just got out, and they are already shaking again. I couldn't go for my walk today... I had no energy today and I just hurt from my legs shaking all the time. My knees hurt, and I want to be able to at least walk to the doctor tomorrow, if not back and forth to work. I'm going to go in my work clothes and then see what I can get. I've pretty much decided I want to see a medical doctor, not the psychiatrist, since a medical doctor would be more helpful. This is a medical problem, albeit one caused my psychiatric medications. Plus, it would be quicker to see the medical doctor, and cheaper. I hope my Medicaid has kicked in so I don't have to pay, but I'm planning on having to pay tomorrow. The worst thing that can happen is the medical doctor tells me I have to go see my psychiatrist, then I have to pay for both. I hope that doesn't happen, because that would wipe out my bank account.
Speaking of banks and money, I got my mom's Christmas present today. It's not much, but I hope she likes it. I'm not going to say what it is here in case my mom stumbles upon my journal somehow. I don't hide this, I'm Larissa238 everywhere, so she could read this if she wanted to. She would just have to Google the name and see what journals I have. I haven't done that in a while, but I'm sure you could find this on Google. I know you can find a bunch of other nasty stuff about my past on Google, like my old journal from when I was a cutter. I hope my mom doesn't find that one. Mom, if you're reading this, don't go looking for that journal, please. Anyway, I have a couple dollars left in my bank, so I should be okay with money if I just have to see the medical doctor. I don't know what they can do, but I guess they should be able to do something. A psychiatrist would only know the psych medications, while a regular doctor would know what to do for leg spasms.
I wish there was a combination hospital and doctors, ones who knew both about psych medications and about other medications as well. My stepdad told me I should talk to a pharmacist first, and I think I'm going to take his advice. I know the pharmacist at the clinic is smart, and should have a good idea of what I'm going through and what can be done. I know it's due to medication interactions, between the Neurontin and the Depakote. It didn't start until I took both of those at the same time, so I don't know what else it could be. All I know is that it's driving me crazy to have my legs shake all the time. I spent most of today sleeping again because it's the only relief I get from this. That and the bath I took. I want to take another, but the hot water hasn't heated up again yet. We have a small hot water heater here, and so it takes a while for it to get hot again. I wish I could afford one of those tankless hot water heaters, that would be great. Not having to wait for hot water and not running out.
Mood today was okay again. I wish this stupid leg thing would stop already. It's just as bad as it was yesterday, if not worse. Both legs are shaking again instead of just the left one. They are not shaking as bad as it was yesterday, but to have both shaking again is annoying. I have to keep moving them to get them to stop shaking, so I'm playing footsie with the laptop right now. I bet Geo would be jealous lol. Not really. He's too tall to play footsie with (he's 6 foot 8). Well, whatever.
Food today was okay. I'm low on calories, but not too bad. I'm about at 1,300 calories, so that's kinda close. I'm supposed to be a bit under 1,500 so I'm close. I wanted to stay closer to 1,300 calories anyway, since that's how I've been losing the most weight. Maybe 1,400 calories would be a good compromise. I don't know. I guess I will just have to see how I do with losing weight. Now that I'm out of the hospital, I should start losing again. The food in there is horrible for you... fatty and greasy and salty. I guess they don't want you wasting away while in there, or they just go with the cheapest food provider. Oh well, nothing I can do now. Stress today was low, I just got mad at my legs. Sleep last night was good... I got 13 hours plus a couple hours of nap in. Mood today was okay, and I will let you all know tomorrow what the doctor said about my legs.

knowing that your shaking is related to the meds, it is a hard choice as to which doctor to go to. the pshcy. could alter the meds, you shouldnt be getting these side effect? have you called him? a medical doctor could give you something for the shaking, but then you are covering up the side effects. my opion is to see what the pshy. thinks, over the phone to save money, then see your medical doctor. just my opion. i hope things get better and you get some answers. hugsss

I agree with the idea to phone the prescribing doctor and also a chat with the pharmicist might be a good move too. That might be done with a phone call also.
Your calorie count is pretty good. I hope you see a drop in the scale number when you weigh in. Which day do you weigh?
