Still miss my Smokey and its been since 2009.
Smokey passed away on Nov. 15, 2009. I still miss him with every breath in my body. I have not found anyone else to love. I have a man friend who is good for me and helps around this place. I think he loves me. I care for him but not the same way as he for me. I just can't live alone. Its nice to have some one around.
I don't think there will be anyone else for me and have given up on that score. I had the one true love and soul mate. I don't think I will find another. Having a companion is just okay and not what I truly want but what I truly want I don't think exists so I have given up.

I gave up too, Diane. Haven\'t even looked. I live alone...well a dog and my bird. That\'s it. I can\'t settle. I have a friend who has never found a soul mate. She said I was so lucky. Still, it comes at a price.
