Stick Me With A Fork I'm Done
I struggle and struggle with faith. I have as an adult had a number of very ugly unkind church experiences and I no longer go to church at all... Did you know that people in the church can be just as ugly to fat awkward people as the rest of the world... I I'm so tired of people and their ugliness... Most of the time I just shut the door and try to move on. I do feel bad about so much rejection... but the truth is... I think I should feel sorrier for those whose souls are so ugly...

Elissa, I am sorry that you have had such negative experiences at church; a place where one should be able to freely worship and find support & compassion. I attend church now. I am in a loving & accepting Methodist church. But in the past I just stayed home, worked on my relationship with God and read the Bible. God is in your heart and if church isn\'t giving you the fellowship you need right now, then just enjoy your faith and relationship with God. Love and hugs, Linda
