Step 5

Went to a movie with friends.  The same theater DH and I enjoyed not that long ago.  It was hard.  A few times I almost cried, but I made it through.  It helped that it was that movie Date Night.  It was funny enough to keep my mind on the movie most of the time.  Still, I looked back at the favorite area we like to sit in.

Was the moved Date Night good and would you recommend it? I haven\'t been to a movie since 1998 or there abouts. I find comedies refreshing and they keep your mind off things. Since Smokey died, I watch more comedy shows on TV than dramas. It keeps me smiling or laughing. Did you and DH go to movies a lot? I try not to do the same things Smokey and I did but sometimes you have to and can\'t go around it. Have a good evening if it is possible.

I think it\'s a giant step that you went out with friends for a movie. I haven\'t been able to do so. Last time I went out with ma, we went for a movie. Finally found the courage to go for a movie. We have settled for next Saturday evening and I\'m dreading it!

Have a peaceful week ahead...

Oh I want to see that movie! Movies were a huge part of our lives, since our business is movie rentals and sales. I haven\'t yet gone to a theater. I know it will be hard when I do. Dan converted our garage into a home movie theater and it is hard for me to watch movies in there alone. I have to continue to watch them as it is part of my business, but sometimes it makes me very sad.
I applaud your steps forward. Keep them up!
