Starting work
Just getting ready to start work here.
pumping myself up.
Just had a text exchange with a family member. I guess sometimes we wish we had certain kinds of relationships with folks in our lives when we don't.
It may be who they are or the stage of life you're both in. Respecting that. Like ships passing. Just gotta focus on work and get satisfaction from that.

respecting people as and where they are is even more important with your shipmates than onboard the passing ships. my shipmates have much freer access to my heart and my nose than the socially distant crew members of the passing ships.
i'll second the plan to focus on work and get satisfaction from that. the pen may be mightier than the sword, but it is by the hand that the job gets done. i really like the way john hiatt puts ^it^.
