Starting the day here
Just about to start work here.
I had a bad mental wrong turn and I just felt hopeless as in 'what am I going to do'?!!
The idea came to me to just take pride in being self responsible. Take care of the work at hand keep going, one step in front of the other. That helped some
and now I'm looking forward to working.
What also helped as I looked at photos of my friends (the monastery friends) I figured even they have bad days when they're not feeling it. Yet they keep on keeping on. It helps to notice that. We all need to keep on keeping on!

did you steal that line from mother teresa? sounds like something she would say, but i may be misquoting, AGAIN. my bibliography is a mess.
even when i decide to be self-irresponsible and spend some time on the pity pot, i like to take pride in doing it well.
