starting the day!
oh boy, starting the day here - because the monastery is on lockdown because we all have
covid - the mornings are kind of up to us to fill up in our rooms.
I've taken a shower and dressed and because I am feeling better
I'll go down to the cafeteria for morning meal today.
I want to take a covid test to see if I still have it.
Hopefully I'll go to work tomorrow.

the word, "COVID," has changed radically for me. my biology training was sufficient to make me aware of the corona family of viruses long before the global shutdown. the common cold is a corona virus. i learned that in the 70's college classes. here in 2024, the very mention of the very mention of the long common abbreviation puts the fear of global coup d'etat into me. please, dear lord, save us from yet another maskite takeover.

i've been seeing more masks in the stores lately. i am still having major panic attacks at the visage and still unable to see the human behind the mask. hope healing happens here.
