Spring fever
I have had a rather blah 2 days. Yesterday, I did a bit of housework and then sat around all afternoon. Today, we went to the Farmers' Market and then for lunch at our favorite little Mexican Restaurant. It should be a good day but it is not. I am in one of my funks.
We got home and I checked the phone for messages. There were none. I started to cry. Lisa used to phone often and left messages. Now we rarely have them. I guess I am being selfish but I feel sorry for myself. I just feel crappy.
I know it is me and spring. I always have a down time at the end of the winter. That is my sensible mind talking. My heart does not listen. I just want to cry.
Thanks for being there.
Lisa: I miss you so very much. I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

Wishing you felt better Marlene, but so \"get\" the feeling blah sometimes. It takes energy to maintain positivity and sometimes the battery runs down! Time to rest and recharge! Lisa is with you now --closer than your own skin-a dimension away...Revealed in God\'s time... XO Donna
Marlene my days have been exactly the same, blah blah blah!! It is this time of year with the snow and being cold all the time..I hate it! I\'ve been up and down like a yoyo,,I think it is seasonal depression.. I can get alittle happy, i am ok, if I get to excited, i attend to get depressed the next day.. So its a constant battle trying to keep a even keel... When I feel lonely and sad, I think of giving Ryan a call to see what he\'s doing, then boom its a complete let down...The house work isn\'t important to me anymore, as long as its not cluttery and everything is in its place, i\'m happy..The thing I need to do is go though all my boxes of cloths and just stuff I don\'t use anymore, i\'m going to bring it to the Salvation army or good will...To the people who lost everything from those hurricaines, or whatever, It will make me happy helping others..The most thing I need to do is go through family pictures and organize them, everything is like a mountain to me, hahaha....I guess i could relate to you, huh!! LOL, XO Kelly
You are not being selfish to be missing your Lisa. I think this is the cycle of our lives now and I understand those days and times that feel like a funk. Those are my cocooning days and I seem to need them often.
Be gentle with yourself dear friend and I know that when the sunshine comes and stays awhile it will help all of us to feel better. More snow here in Utah all day long and into tomorrow. Park City is a winter wonderland now!
Lots of loving care to you,
XO Joanie
Dear Marlene, how can we not have our down days? We have suffered a terrible loss, and our hearts are broken. There\'s no cure for this, no surgery, no cast to wear. Just our hands holding onto one another, my dear soth. We cannot deny these days of pain, just take care and let it wash over us. This too shall pass, the intensity will wane, and we\'ll be pro-life again. love you, Abby
Oh Marlene, I am so sorry to that you are feeling down...we never know exactly what will trigger our sorrow. Some times I think we need to just allow it...feel what we feel...I call it \"going there\". Other days we can try and put it away a bit and try enjoy life...hugging you tightly...
We are entitled to feeling blah once in a while. I think I have the seasonal thing too...the winters are so gray and dreary. If it\'s gray and dismal for more than 2 days, I start getting cranky and depressed. We are all in this together. Love, Connie
I know what you mean and have felt and still sometimes feel the way you describe what is going on with you. The crappies. I have them too, more often than not. No, the phone does not ring as often as it once did and I so miss the person, my Denise, who used to be on the other end just to chat or to come and get me and go out and do something. It\'s just too hard to fill that void, but talking about it helps and where else can we do that but here so keep on talking, we\'re listening. Hope you feel better soon.
All of us get down sometimes. When I sense it coming I get out and do something. I try to find an activity that is different so it takes concentration. I like to get active so it expels energy and helps to relax when I am done. We can all feel sorry for ourselves but that isn\'t too constructive. I find a deserving person that is worse off than me so I realize how lucky I am. It is all a mind thing. Sing an upbeat song and dance along with it. Grab your partner or a neighbor and everyone dance. \"You make me want to dance, kick your feet up\". Thinking of you and sending a smile...whether you want it or not. Peggy
You have every right to get down but try your best to not let the dark cloud stay too long. Sometimes we need a good cry and then can gather ourselves. Spring is taking it\'s sweet time here too. We had about 8 more inches of snow today. Keeping my fingers crossed for sunny skies soon. Much love. Robin
It\'s okay to cry - do what you have to do. Embrace your funk for a while - let it wash over you. Of course you feel sorry for yourself - look what you have been through. And when you are able, time to exhale and defunk!

I shed some tears too. Really feel your mood today. Missing Lisa just stinks. Maybe tomorrow we will have a little brighter outlook, but for today I send you my total understanding. Wishing you a little pleasant moment and a smile from me to your hurting heart... XOXO Debbie
Marlene, never consider yourself selfish! I know what you mean about the phone messages! It hurts so much each time we realize that there will be no more messages from our child. At least not on the telephone! Never before was silence so loud for me! Weather and seasonal changes due affect many us so much. Here in Maryland, I don\'t think I have seen the sun for months and it rains every day...Yes, I am glad it is not snow! But I sure am ready for Spring. Hugs, Belinda
I\'m with you.....missing Lisa,,,missing Morgan,,,so sad,,,
Oh How I too miss those phone calls from Jason. He would call at the spur of the moment, when he saw something on TV that he wanted to tell me, when he heard a new joke, when Athena did something cute. Oh God it makes my heart hurt to think about it ...I know your pain...I definitely understand.
Hugs and Love, Terry
I am with you. Somedays I wonder if a \"new normal\" will ever arrive. I miss Josh\'s voice, his smell, everything about him.
Love,
Leda
