Spread some Christmas Cheer

It has been a custom of mine on occasion to give a gift to a friend or family member anonymously. It doesn’t have to be very big or costly. It does not compare to their other gifts, because the special thing about this gift is... someone loves them and they have no idea who. I have literally watched a pattern that has been consistent with every time I do this. It is really very beautiful to watch...their eyes seem to twinkle more, their smile seems to widen, their laughter seems child like and their whole continence radiates with the beauty that they are special.
That was the heart of Saint Nicholas when he came upon a little poverty stricken city in Europe. The true tradition of Saint Nicholas was celebrated on his birthday December 6th. He left gifts on the shoes of children when their shoes were put outside during the night. To this day his body rests in a Cathedral in Prague Czech Republic.
Gift giving has been a beautiful exchange since the beginning of time. God gave us His Son when we least expected Him and when we least deserved Him. His gift was one for all mankind. He made a way for everyone to have eternal life with God. Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no one goes to the Father but through Him.
So, be blessed and give a gift to someone just because you can!
Have a wonderful Christmas Season to everyone!
Hugs,
Jessy
