Spiritual paths

 

I was impressed by a visitor to the monastery today as he told me about his life. I tried to tell him a little about mine too. After we went into services together, I stood there while the sisters were chanting, and also reading the spiritual passages. 

 

I thought that we are each on a spiritual path where we spin and philosophize about different things in life and try to learn and grow and relate to each other and keep ourselves in a kind of mental integrity, viable and sound. It gave me peace.

 

 i just feel very close to my faith today. Not because I feel superior or elevated but because I feel just flawed and in good company and respectful of the paths we are each
