Sorted it out
Last night, after writing my journal, I felt a great pressure within me to be sure I was doing as much as I can with my life. I was asking myself'was I doing enough?' 'What was I not doing?' And 'how could I determine what was enough?'
I went to sleep and came down to church this morning. I found myself laser focused on my immediate actions and then I felt blind to my brothers and sisters and was wholey consumed by my immediate actions.
I struggled as again i wondered if 'I was doing enough.?' I thought then...'wait a minute, they will have their ideas each of them about what us enough, as will i'
i thought about my father's wisdom the other day that 'people will give you a report card every day.'
The generality that we each have our ideas of what is enough really helped me reason more and more about what i was doing and gave me the ability to decide what was enough.
i could compare my own sense of standard measured by an object sense too. It really helped.
peace and have a good morning!

in my meditations of emotions as a babbling brook, i have wondered if it is nature's way that each of the human emotions should babble through her brooks each day in random succession. let the babbling merge into a song of life. ya doesn't need a name for every note.
just wondering. . . it's a meditation, silly. definitive answers are not the goal.
Thanks and Peace Arfie!
